Let’s get real. Brow perfection can be as individualized as the 87,000 variations at Starbucks and most often our brows don’t even look the same. Perhaps my next book will be titled Brows are Sisters Not Twins, and Sometimes a Distant Cousin. Straight, feathered, tamed, dramatic, full, thin, “microbladed” tattooed, “volumized” and au naturel are just a few choices.
Pictured here is my actress Erin Cummings. We’re filming a 1960’s scene for my 50th movie Language Arts (not released yet). I applied tjordan Brow Definer in soft brown and finished with tJordan setting spray to create this brow look.
if you’re sitting in my makeup chair and I’m preparing you to go on camera, here are a few basic steps before I create a brow statement.
Brush up and down with a spoolie to remove dry skin.
Push up brows with tJordan Vitamin E stick and tweeze strays that you’ll never miss
Trim any wild hairs (pun intended).
Use Vaseline or Aquaphor to create fullness.
Choose a matching color to complement your brow in pencil, gel, liquid, pencil, or powder, and the correct product to achieve the look.
Finish with clear gel or hairspray and tJordan setting spray; dry and brush again with a spoolie.
